Wreathed in smiles
This years classes for wreath making - a morning workshop resulting in some wonderful designs - were full as usual and everyone had a good time with home made refreshments, the odd christmasCD and the latest choice of materials. What was unusual was that Janis broke her wrist in 2 places when she slipped packing wreaths into the delivery van, but Julie was more than up to stepping in to demonstrate with Janis helping out with her good arm to keep it all flowing. Some of our ladies return year after year and need little help whilst others came for the first time. We always try to find new materials and this year it was oranges, lots of different apples, acorns, toadstools and mini terracotta flower pots to add to the usual favourites and some lovely new hessian and glittery ribbons. Happy Christmas everyone - see you next year!
