Sarah and Lisa Beagle - A tale of two sisters
Sarah and her sister Lisa are very similar in looks and personality, both being positive and friendly people to whom family and friends are important. After a long period with their respective partners they both decided to get married in the same year! Lisa booked her date for June at Cooling Castle Barn in Kent, but Sarah then beat Lisa to it when a cancellation at Cain Manor became available in March. Each was the other’s chief bridesmaid, and their children were flower girls and pageboys. So real family celebrations, with a chance to wear two lots of wonderful dresses – not to mention enjoy two celebration parties!
Lisa and Matt – Cooling Castle Barn Kent
Brides love this venue and recommendations bring us back year after year. Lisa chose a vintage theme for her wedding in June in muted pinks. She set the scene with paper bunting, vintage glass candles and an old-fashioned sweet table. She chose pink peonies and amnesia rose with cream spray rose for the bridal flowers. The tables featured our popular 75cm vases with two sets of lights in the stem and topped with an arrangement of hydrangea, vintage roses, astrantia and spray rose. The lights give a dramatic effect to the barn venue. The three-tier cake was decorated in cream and vintage roses and a long low arrangement was used first in the ceremony room and later moved to the middle of the top table. And those two little flower girls Maddie and Lily obviously had a great time! The family and friends had a lovely day for the wedding. I should think mum and dad are still buzzing after two daughters getting married in three months!
Sarah and Paul – Cain Manor, Nr. Farnham, Hampshire
Sarah was married on a wonderful sunny day in March at the immaculate Cain Manor which dates back to the Elizabethan era. She chose lilac, cream and purple flowers for e a fresh Spring look and carried a hand-tied bouquet of avalanche roses, white lilac, purple anemone and lisianthus. Her bridesmaid and sister, Lisa, carried a similar bouquet but with blue moon roses, whilst flower girl Maddie had a miniature version of Sarah’s bouquet. Her two boys, Fraser and Dylan, wore miniature rose buttonholes.
The ceremony table arrangement (which was moved to the top table) included cream oriental lilies which were echoed in the wreath ring table arrangements that surrounded the splendid glass candelabra provided by the venue. Many friends and family joined in the celebrations which provided a taste of further fun to come at Lisa’s wedding when many of them would have the chance to do it all over again!
