Janine and Tony Hillman, Coltsford Mill, Surrey
Janine was relaxed about her wedding. She appeared to suffer none of the last-minute nerves that some brides have and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Coltsford Mill is set in beautiful gardens with water and fountains, providing a lovely backdrop for a sunny summer wedding and family and friends helped the happy couple to celebrate in style.
Following a black and white theme, Janine chose an all-white shower bridal bouquet of roses and orchids with sparkling Swarovski crystal strands and scented freesia to make it special. Her bridesmaids wore black satin dresses and carried white hand-tied bouquets of roses, lisianthus and freesia, set off by rolled striped dracaena leaves and looped flexigrass. The stems were bound with white crystal organza fastened with black pearl pins. Continuing the black and white theme, flowers at the reception in black martini vases held a selection of white roses, lisianthus, freesia and orchids. The arrangements were made with inner containers so that the flowers could be removed after the wedding for guests to take home and enjoy as a memento of the occasion.
